Chip Conley
New York Times bestselling author and hospitality entrepreneur, Chip Conley is a leader at the forefront of the sharing economy. No one has led the development, creation, and management of more boutique hotels than Chip, founder and former CEO of Joie de Vivre. During his nearly 24 years as CEO, Joie de Vivre grew to become the second largest boutique hotel companies in America. In 2013, Chip accepted an invitation from the founders of Airbnb to help transform their promising home sharing start-up into the world’s largest hospitality brand. In four years as Airbnb’s Head of Global Hospitality & Strategy, he taught his award-winning methods to hundreds of thousands of Airbnb hosts and created the world-renowned Airbnb Open. Chip’s books share his theories on transformation and meaning – in business and life – and he has also been a featured speaker at TED.

Missy Young

Missy Young is the CIO (Chief Information Officer) at Switch. She drives the company’s solutions architecture to create a fundamental and sustainable change in the way clients ultimately design and implement intelligent data strategies. As a technologist, Missy has played an imperative role in the company’s evolution from the most innovative data center company in the world to the world’s only hyperscale retail colocation ecosystem that it is today.

Since joining the company in 2005, Missy has also held roles with leadership responsibilities for all sales operations and solutions engineering with respect to potential clients and win-win contract negotiations. Her expertise in technology trends, forecasting client needs and connecting those trends with results has been a great asset to Switch and its success. Prior to becoming a partner at Switch, Missy was the Director of Sales Engineering and VoIP services for Mpower Communications. Her portfolio of experience also includes senior sales engineering positions at ICG Communications, InteleNet Data Centers, and FirstWorld Communications. She entered the industry back in the dot-com days of the mid-90s, as a network engineer through her Cisco, Microsoft, and Novell certifications.

Missy serves on the FIRST® Nevada Robotics Board, the Foundation Board of the College of Southern Nevada, the Foundation Board of Opportunity Village, the Kenny Guinn Center for Policy Research Board, the Desert Research Institute Foundation Board, and the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges Board of Directors. Additionally, Missy is a strong advocate for the certification path of education for young students who desire to enter the technology field.

Paul Giobbi

As President, CEO and co-founder of Zumasys, Inc., Paul Giobbi has led his company to become one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the US, appearing on the Inc. 5000 list seven times.

Since starting Zumasys, Paul has maintained a relentless focus on culture and social responsibility. His innovative employee programs, such as the Zumasys International Travel Incentive and Happyness Is a Choice, have garnered numerous awards and nominations, including being named #1 on Fortune Magazine’s Best Workplaces for Giving Back in 2016.

Paul was born into the legacy computing market. He started his career at age 11 in a family business that produced tradeshows and magazines for the PICK/UNIX market. By age 30, he built a successful division at Jones Business Systems (JBS), which became the largest distributor for Pick Systems (now Rocket Software). In 2000, Paul and his partner – Joe Cupp – split from JBS to form Zumasys.

In 2006, Paul launched The Zumasys Cloud which is optimized for high-performance business applications and accounting systems.

In 2015, Zumasys acquired jBASE, a powerful database that allows customers to preserve decades of custom PICK MultiValue code and make these valuable applications more appealing to younger developers effectively providing a succession plan. Zumasys also acquired AccuTerm software for remote access to PICK applications; MultiValue Dashboard for presenting business data within a Web-based graphical interface; and worldwide distribution rights for the OpenQM database and DesignBais.

After growing Zumasys into a $30 million technology provider, Paul sold its cloud, infrastructure and managed business to NexusTek in June 2018.

As part of the divestiture, Paul and the Executive Team that built Zumasys relocated to San Clemente, California and the company is now exclusively focused on its software technologies.

Mike Jenner

As CEO of NexusTek, Mike Jenner provides guidance to the leadership team, focused on the strategic growth of NexusTek and expansion into new markets. Mike brings more than 25 years’ experience in outsourcing, managed services, software and IT to the NexusTek team.

As CEO of the ILLUMEN Group prior to joining NexusTek in 2015, Mike helped the Denver firm build a substantial portfolio of clients and establish a strong presence with community organizations and industry leaders. Before ILLUMEN, Mike led a team of more than 2,000 IT professionals and staff for Trizetto Inc.’s Services Division and spent nearly two decades as a senior executive at the helm of AT&T’s multi-billion dollar Enterprise Networking business. A Cornell University graduate, Mike received a bachelor’s degree in economics and statistics.
